Malware Defense (or malware defence) is a rogue antivirus application that will install itself on your system and then claim that there are many security problems and even viruses on your system. It will claim that it can fix these problems (for a price) and may prevent you from downloading files to your computer from the internet. (It basically sets up web browsing through a proxy so that it can monitor and control all of your internet activity.) You should remove this pest from your computer. Read on for how to remove malware defense.

Sysdefence is another rogue antivirus application from the wini family. This family of rogues has been quite prolific lately and typically is pushed on computer users through aggressive trojans that will appear on web pages masquerading as an update for flash player or a video codec for a video that may be well sought after. Once the user consents to installing this “update” or “codec” the trojan will then continue on to install sysdefence and complain about security alerts on the computer. It will complain about virus infected files and other security problems (all bogus claims) and will further say that it cannot repair these problems unless you purchase their software. Read on for how to remove SysDefence.

TheDefend is a rogue antivirus program that is one of the latest incarnations of the wini family of rogues. It will introduce itself onto your system through aggressive advertising claiming to be a video codec update or flash player update that may be required to see a highly sought after video. Once the user tries to download the codec they have loaded a trojan which installs the software and then they are buried with popups and complaints of security problems on their computer and multiple viral infected files. The catch here is that they claim they cannot repair the problems unless you purchase their software. Read on for how to remove TheDefend.

GuardPCs looks like the latest entry from the wini family of rogues. (They just keep churning out new ones every other day it seems.) They’re using the same template these days of course, just the names change. This one, as the others, is pushed through bogus video codec or flash player updates. Note that I said BOGUS codecs or updates…. typically someone will be searching for the latest hot new video that everyone seems to be talking about and they’ll come across a site that claims to have it, but darn the luck, you have to download this update (wink wink) to be able to see it. There you have just bit the fat juicy worm that was bait and you have been hooked. At that point their frustrating software starts to invade your system and you held the door open for it. It will now pop up many alerts and warnings and complaints about your computer security (or lack thereof) and will scan your machine and claim that you have viruses which it is unable to remove until you purchase it. As you can see this is a scam, merely a ploy to separate you from your money. Read on for how to remove guardpcs.

IGuardPC is one of the latest clones of the winisoft family of rogue antivirus applications. It is typically installed through the use of trojans and fake video codec and or (faked) flash player updates. This rogue will pop up warnings with the title Spyware Alert! and in it’s scans will find files (that it created) that it then claims are infected with viruses and should be cleaned up. As is usual…. these claims are false and they further say that nothing can be cleaned until you purchase their software. Please do not buy into this scam. Instead read on for how to remove iguardpc.

Safety Antispyware is a rogue antivirus application that will scan your computer and claim that many files are infected with viruses and need to be deleted. The main problem is that these claims are falsified. Not only do you likely not have a virus (other than this monstrosity), but the files it lists as being infected are legitimate windows files and deleting them will likely damage your windows installation. So, do not follow their advice, neither should you purchase their software. They will claim that the only way to fix your system is purchasing their software. Please read more for how to remove safety antispyware.

SiteAdware is a rogue antivirus application that is typically installed without the computer users express permission. It is promoted through trojans and fake video codec or flash player updates. Once established on the sysem it will tend to do a falsified scan of your pc and claim that you have numerous security problems and viruses on your system that must be fixed and removed. They could not remove these though until you register and pay for the software and that is the trick because they really care nothing about your pc’s security and just want your money. Read more for how to remove SiteAdware.
