AntiTroy is a rogue antivirus application that is usually installed through trojans that are masquerading as a video codec update or flash player update. It usually installs without the computer users permission and will complain about many security issues with your pc. It will claim that there are virus infected files that should be removed and of course, it couldn’t possibly fix the problems until you pay for their software. Antivirus Live is a rogue antivirus application that usually is installed without the permission of the owner of the computer. Simple web browsing may be enough when visiting the wrong site for this to introduce itself onto the machine via a trojan or even aggressive advertising within the page that tricks or confuses the user into installing it. PC Live Guard is a Rogue antivirus application that typically installs on a system through aggressive advertising and fake scan sites. You will see things that pop up appearing to be a scan of your computer, but it’s really just an ad pushing this product. Once the software is on your system it will create many files that it then holds up as proof of your system being infected by viruses. ReSpyWare is a rogue antivirus/ antimalware application in the same family as Reanti,keepcop and secure keeper and unfortunately a very very long line of other predecessors. They are not much different except in their names. Probably the biggest shared trait is the annoying warnings about supposed viruses on your computer and that it can’t clean up those viruses unless you pay. Antivir is a rogue antivirus application that is pushed through web site popup ads on unsuspecting users. Basically in web browsing you may see a popup claiming that your computer is infected and you should run a malware scan. Clicking to proceed will probably show an animation of a scan which is really nothing more than an animated lookalike scan. After this it will claim that you need to downlod antivir in order to clean the supposed viruses that it found off your computer. After that the program becomes even more troublesome launching popup warnings and complaints and running scans and then claiming that your system is full of viruses.
